ONE-DAY TECHNOPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP (One-STEP)

RAMP INDONESIA

OBJECTIVE

The objectives of the workshop are:

1. To improve students’ awareness on technopreneurship and its role in creating positive impact to the community.

2. To disseminate Student Technopreneurship Program of RAMP-IPB and search potential students for the program.

Output

The outputs of the workshop are:

1. Students with improved technopreneurial awareness and knowledge as well as inventive and innovative mentality.

2. Students with improved skill to compose proposals that are qualify for Intensive Student Technopreneurship Program of RAMP-IPB.

MECHANISM

The mechanism of the workshop is presented in the following Figure.

As the targeted participants were university students, local partners are universities. Term of reference (TOR) for the workshop is socialised and discussed with the local partners.

One-day workshops on technopreneurship are targeted to students having interests in invention/innovation and creating impact to the community through technopreneurship. Workshop creates awareness, understanding, and motivation to students by giving materials on technopreneurship and its role in creating impact, technology development, idea validation, opportunity assessment, business model, business planning, financing, and issues on Intellectual Property (IP). By having this program, it is expected that more students are exposed to technopreneurship and motivated to realize their technological solutions. In this workshop, students are encouraged to submit proposals for both Intensive-Student Technopreneurship Program (i-STEP) and pre-mentoring program.

PARTICIPANT

Participants of the workshops are students from the implemented universities and students from other higher educations (universities) around the partner universities. Number of the participants was at least 100...
