Group Dynamics

Introduction

Groups is defined as a minimum of two or more than individuals who therefor come together, too complete particular tasks, which usually allows achievement and of goals. These form of individuals normally relate to each other by some organization or social relationships, some groups are formed by informal group nor formal groups. Which will explained in details within the observation.

My Group Observation

​On October 20, 2013 to November 17, the writer/a new member of the church, observed the new members/ group at Crossroad Church located at Dover, DE. This particular group appeared to be a perfecting class series group, in the beginning of the session, there were about 15 group members. The writer assumed that the age range of the group were in their early teens, twenties, and set of family members as well. Overall, the group was lively, energetic, and full of smiles. The lesson plan was as followed:

Perfecting Class 1 - THE PROMISE OF SALVATION

Perfecting Class 2 - HOW TO REFUSE OFFENSE

Perfecting Class 3 - REASON FOR WATER BAPTISM

Perfecting Class 4 - THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY GHOST

Perfecting Class 5 – MEET & GREET WITH OUR PASTORS

As the group session progressed, the writer understood that the perfecting class was a part of the developmental process for the church. By further observation, the classes started by introduction their names to the rest of the members, by the looks on the members face, everyone was excited to know more about the class.
