Define the ff.

1. Marketing - the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.

2. Travel Industry- providing tours and services for tourists.

3. Customer Orientation- Providing content and services on a web site consistent with the different characteristics of the auddience of the site.

4. Marketing Manager- A manager whose primary task is to manage the marketing resources of a product or business. A marketing manager can be in charge of a single product or brand, or can be a general manager responsible for a broad array of products and services.

5. Need- a state of felt in depriviation of some basic satisfaction

Want- desires for specific satisfies of a specific needs

Desires- wants for a specific products that are back in an ability and willingness to buy them

6. Product- A good or service that most closely meets the requirements of a particular market and yields enough profit to justify its continued existence. As long as cars are manufactured, companies such as Michelin that produce tires fill the market need and continue to be profitable.

7. Customer Satisfaction- The degree of satisfaction provided by the goods or services of a company as measured by the number of repeat customers.

8. Markets- are generally made up of businesses which buy products and raw materials for their own operation.

9. Marketing Management- The application, tracking and review of a company's marketing resources and activities.

10. Product Concept- A philosophy that a good product creates its own market, and does not require heavy marketing expenditure.

11. Manufacturing Concept- The process of converting raw materials, components, or parts into finished goods that meet a customer's expectations or specifications. Manufacturing commonly employs a man-machine setup with division of labor in a...
