Global Warming: An Inconvenient Truth

Humanity is a ticking time bomb and the likely-hood of it going off in our generation is slim, however it's projected to go off in our children's generation. We have just ten years to prevent a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet's climate system into a tail-spin of monstrous destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves beyond anything we have ever experienced. This would be a catastrophe we created with our own hands, if the majority of scientists are right.

If that sounds like a recipe for disaster - think again. From director Davis Guggenheim comes the Sundance Film Festival hit, "An Inconvenient Truth," which offers a passionate and inspirational look at one man's commitment to expose the myths and misconceptions that surround global warming, while revealing at the same time that the same humans who are creating it can turn their actions around and prevent it.
