Club IT Part One
Club IT is an up and coming nightclub that is owned and operated by Lisa Tejada and Ruben Keys. Both Lisa and Ruben graduated with degrees in Business Administration and have a background in music. They always wanted to open a nightclub and decided they would follow their dreams and created Club IT. This essay will describe Club IT’s mission, primary clientele, as well as provide information technology solutions and explain how to apply them in order to improve Club IT.
MISSION & PRIMARY CLIENTELE
Together, Lisa and Ruben pledge to “offer live music, DJ’s, dance space, and refreshments that suit [their clients] lifestyle… to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT.” (About Club IT, n.d.) The targeted clientele of Club IT could be described as young and old adults over the age of 21 whom enjoy listening and dancing to hip-hop, techno, electronica music, as well as live bands. Club IT also extends a warm welcome to those fans of country and jazz music when they designate specific nights and events to those music genres.

If Club IT wants to survive in the hectic world of nightclubs, they need to come up with strategies to gain the competitive advantage. For starters, if Club IT’s intention of their website was to bring in clientele, they should definitely consider hiring a professional company to design a more graphic and exciting website. The current website is rather plain and boring. They should ass a section to broadcasts pictures from events to show potential clients all of the fun they are missing out on. Another important section that should be considered is a “What Do You Think?” portion. This is where patrons can inform Lisa and Ruben what they liked, disliked, and what they would like to see during their experience at Club IT.
