The pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly will be hosting a hospitality trade show reception in Indianapolis for 200 of its most valued customers. The reception is in appreciation of the previous year’s successes working together as business partners. The event will be designed for networking and motivating the customers to continue their partnerships for years to come.

Anticipation: Broadcast emails with agenda fliers of the event will be attached and will be developed by the marketing department with a Indianapolis Race Theme. Indianapolis is well known for hosting the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, Indianapolis and Formula One Grand Prix, Motor-cross, Super-cross and NHRA Drag races each year. These emails will be sent to the pharmaceutical company’s top 200 customers with information regarding the event. In addition to the emails, each representative of Eli Lilly will meet with each individual vendor to discuss the appreciation reception with a personal invite and the registration information. Emails and reminders will be sent out on a regular basis marketing the event in anticipation of the day and a RSVP for an estimate of a head count will be sent out closer to the date.

Arrival: Information about the events location at the JW Marriott along with any type of travel arrangements from the airport or local directions will be sent prior to the event. Information regarding stays at the hotel with pricing, parking and registration will also be included in the packet delivered to each customer. Signage at the hotel with directions for immediate registration and location of event will be set up throughout the lobby and convention areas.
