INTRODUCTION

Computer Games as defined by the Collins Dictionary as “any of various games, recorded on cassette or disc for use in a home computer, that are played by manipulating a mouse, joystick, or the keys on the keyboard of a computer in response to the graphics on the screen.”

For the last years computer gaming has evolved from the simple point-and-click kind of adventure games, where the graphics were hardly realistic up to today’s interactive games where a whole set of new user-input methods are used like cameras, motion sensors, foot pads and infrared handsets making games not only be concerned with hand-eye coordination, but to a whole new level of challenges and developments for the player. Computer games in past were also doubted to promote violence among children, however, no concrete studies has proven such premise. There are, in fact, numerous games out in the market that simulate real-life scenarios. This is to prove that computer games are just instruments, a tool that is programmed to achieve user input and provide experiences. They can be used to portray an era in history where one plays in a recreated, interactive virtual environment. There are also gamified applications that mimic computer games to introduce new information to users in a safer yet realistic approach, such as flight simulation or library-premise software.

BACKGROUND

Game give us fun and entertainment if we are bored. The most prominent of all is Counter-Strike, which help us to improve our hand-eye coordination and to pursue enemies for you to win the challenge.
