Proposal to change our current betting software

Introduction It is a great honour for me to write this proposal on behalf on my department, the Telebetting department, Singapore Pools (Exhibit A). I would like to offer my sincerest gratitude for this opportunity. I have been with my department as a Customer Service Representative for about half a year now. Recently there have been several customer complaints about the new bet type Multiples. From data that I have analysed, Singapore Pools could be profiting a great deal more than its current profit on this new bet type as well. The main problem with this new bet type is our current software. Using the current software the traders are struggling to analyse and input required information into the system for Multiples bet types, often only including the more popular selections. To amend this, I propose to implement Elbet d.o.o’s sports betting software. By implementing this solution, not only will it increase customer satisfaction but it will also increase profits as well. Problems with current software On 15th August 2014 a new bet type was introduced by Singapore Pools called Multiples. Shortly after its release, the number of complaints received by Member Services increased. Upon closer investigation it was found that majority of the new complaints were about the new bet type Multiples. Customers were unsatisfied because most of their multiples bets were rejected by the system. This was mainly due to the process in which the bet is analysed. Single bet types will only go through the analysis stage if the risk factor for Singapore Pools too high. For Multiples bet types all bets will go through the analysis stage cause the analysis is done by the system. For...
