In his article, ‘Putting ethical practice in corporate responsibility’, Seong (2010) points out the role of businesses in society and indicates the need of corporate responsibility in relation to ethical practice with a subsequent impact on profitability, while arguing that digitalization helps to increase the public awareness by quickly spreading information about all kinds of misconduct. The article is relevant to the report question on corporate governance. Seong (2010) figures out the need to examine the foundation of corporate responsibility in relation to ethical practices. However, the report question has its main focus on the comprehensive process of corporate governance, hence the source is only limited useful because with one principle of ASX named ‘Promote ethical and responsible decision-making’, its scope is limited.
