An organization is a social arrangement for achieving controlled performance in pursuit of collective goals. Discuss.

This statement has many terms that describes an organization and to fully understand and analyze the statement one must fully understand the terms used and by discussing each term and how it will relate to the organization, then you can understand this definition.

An organization can be described as a body of people that work together for a particular purpose or interest. This definition can be seen in businesses and charities. Businesses usually has a goal of supplying a service or goods to a customer and this is shared throughout the institution. It is represented by the mission statements to let the employees be informed about the goal the business shared.

Organizations can be described as a social arrangement is a group of persons or characters arranged in a structure on an organization. An example of a structure that a business uses is s hierarchy system which can be described as a triangle meaning that there are fewer leaders or mangers than the general employee. This system give a greater power to certain people within that organization. This usually means that in case of a person who manages a branch, the employees under him within the triangle will have to follow the way in which the manger tells the employee to proceed to get the goal done. And it will continue as go the up the triangle The ideas of the person above you will control how You are proceed in achieving the goal attempted.

Referring back to the last paragraph, not everyone will have the same goals. For example an manger's goal will be to run an organization in an efficient manner to achieve the required goal. So therefore he does have the same goal but to achieve his goal he must achieve the required goal.
