Many moons ago in the far away, mountainous land of Destopia, a huge drought took place that affected all the animals in the land. These animals were fully devoted to the worshiping of the Spirit of Earth, Sky, but they now felt betrayed by him. He dried out their precious land. Even though the animals worshiped this spirit, they also had a tribe leader, Elephant. Elephant was a selfish leader who despised all the animals of the land. He forced the male animals to do hard labor for a single bottle of water while the female animals did work within the huts. The women cooked and cleaned so their husbands could come home to a relaxed and calm environment.

One day while walking in the forest, thirsty Wolf couldn’t find any water. “Where has all the water gone?” asked Wolf. “It has disappeared,” replied a stranger. The stranger turned out to be Bear. “The spiteful leader has locked all of the water up in the biggest hut in the land. The only other place with water is the Pacific Ocean. The ocean is 4 villages away but it’s worth the trip.” Wolf thanked Bear for the helpful information. Wolf thought about what Bear told him and decided to go ask Elephant for water first. He figured that this would be easier than taking the long trip to the ocean.

After arriving at the biggest hut in the land, Wolf found Elephant almost immediately. “May I have a pail of water?” asked Wolf. “A pail?!” replied Elephant. “May I have a bucket of water?” asked Wolf. “A bucket?!” replied Elephant. “May I have water please?” asked Wolf. Elephant finally gave a wordy reply. “Because you were bold enough to come ask me for water, I will give you what you want. I will give you seven bottles of water. Drink one bottle every day of the week. Nothing more and nothing less. If you follow my orders correctly then you’ll never be thirsty another day in your life. If you choose to disobey my orders you shall pay.”
