Family Dollar – Sales increase by 11.4%

Operating profit was a record $688 million, an increase of 3.6% over fiscal 2012; and

EPS increased 7.0% to a record $3.83

Employees: 34,000 fulltime employees and approx. 24,000 part time.

They have 7,963 stores in 46 states, majority in Texas.

Increased in their cash liquidity $48.7M in 2013. KPI indicates enough cash resources to be used for investments or restructure.
