Introduction to Research for College Writing

1)

The research in academic writing teaches students about varies ways of founding the information and closure. It teaches skills and how to use those skills to gain information, it teaches how to be a critical thinker and how to use other people information to gain the knowledge about the subject you researching. The research in academic writing also teach a student how to use their own ideas and discovery and how to use logic in order to gain more understanding or observation and found your own research and knowledge.

4) The primary research is conducted by getting the first hand information from the sources such as the one on one interview. When you interview the main person who did or know more about the subject. The secondary research is conducted base on the information from books, indirect sources, internet, case studies, and library. And this kind of research is mainly used by students most of the time, it is the quality research but not like the primary research that is qualitative.

5) Intentional plagiarism is when a student or anyone that use other person writing or research by copping it word for word without giving a credit or citation for the main person or writer. Unintentional is when the student or anyone use the correct source to support the evidence but fail to put citations or give the credit to the main writer.

6) The tools on the University of Phoenix library are very helpful I have explore the library and found more tools that will help me on my research more special on my writing guide and I know that there are information that I cannot get as I have try before all I was getting it was just a journal information not enough for my writing but I have learned to look elsewhere. There are many resource that I can use for my English writing as the second language. There tools will be very helpful...
