My path of literacy study

As remembered, community activities and learning activities were my favourite in the high school, those activities helped me spend most of the spare time as well as improve skills in the extracurricular activities. Life in high school was amazing, there are various societies hold by the school based on students’ interests. Therefore, community activities held by those societies attracted a great amount of students to participate.

Being the same as many other students in the high schools, I attended various community activities. Among those activities, the one which invited Li yang came to school to make a speech impressed me most. In details, Li yang is the creator of the institution “Crazy English”, furthermore, he is a philanthropist of China’s education, also being hired as the head coach of English training program of volunteers in the Beijing Olympic. The event was held in the auditorium in the school, where Li yang gave all the students a literacy report of how to learning the English. The report he did was so interesting that it significantly influenced my interest in literacy and understanding about English. Moreover, through this report, I learnt a lot, learning how to improve my skills in writing as well as how to learn English in a better way.

During the speech, Li yang said, “Human life is experienced pain, suffering, frustration and failure to mature, successful life”. This sentence encourages me, gives me the enthusiasm to study English and literacy every time I fallen down. Moreover, Li yang talked about his experience about learning English. In details, he was not outstanding in his academic performance when he was in the college, especially English, which could be called as his weakness.
