Introduction
The Champaign County Humane Society’s (CCHS) mission is “to instill respect, kindness, and compassion for animals as community values.” CCHS works to prevent animal cruelty, promote animal welfare, educate the public and increase awareness, and provide shelter and adoption services for animals. Within this memorandum, we will discuss the relevant attributes, and identify the measures for these attributes to determine CCHS’ overall performance. After determining the strengths and weaknesses of these measures, we will provide recommendations for improving CCHS’ performance.
