Summary:

My group has five members, three members of which are from the same country and the remaining two are from the same school but different undergrad degree. This made me a little uncomfortable in the beginning as I wanted a group of diverse culture. From the list of organizations, Dr. Cogliser gave, our group selected to work with Hutchinson (Hutch) Middle School. When we visited the organization, we got to know about the various works which can aid that organization towards streamlining the process of handling things. Overall we like to set the Hutchinson (Hutch) Middle School up with technologies and systems with longevity that can benefit the Choral program not just this semester, but for years to come.

Course Concepts:

Organizational behavior is the study of human behavior in organizational settings, of the interface between human behavior and the organization, and of the organization itself1. As per the concepts discussed in the Dr. Cogliser class to make a good team we require great cooperation from all team members and we should perform efficient team building activities in order to pave our ways to become an effective team. This can be possible only when team members unite together to achieve common goals. I understand that no one is perfect in this world and every team has a jerk. It reminded me of an event that took place on the day when our team was formed. One member suggested a name for our team which had a negative meaning. No one in our group liked it but our main focus was coordination and understanding in the team.
