Was High School fun?

High school was basically my nightmare. Especially the year I transferred to the new high school. Everything is highly regulated, and they will definitely punish you if you make any obvious mistake. For example: I wrote my first self-reflection paper on my mistake within the first week since I transferred there. Here is the mistake: when the morning class ended, the school bell will ring for 3 times, the first time is 3rd grade students get to go to the dining hall to eat. The second time it ringed, 2nd grade students can go to the dining hall. Then the third time it rings, students like me who were in the first grade can go to eat. Back to the first several days, I didn’t know those rules. When I saw students running to the dining hall from the door, also my classmates seemed prepared to go eat too. I was seated in the first row, and class monitor was sitting in front of the whole class. I was really hungry at that time, so I went out to the dining hall. Of course my class monitor had my name down and told our class head about me went out to eat early when it wasn’t our turn. If my class head didn’t punish me at all, all the class will disrespect him or go out early to eat because they all the witness. However, back to that time, I didn’t want to be punished because that’s only a mistake made by being unfamiliar with the rules. I refused to write the self-reflection paper on the mistake I made, which give my class monitor a hard time because he need to collect it and give it to our class head. Finally my class head talked to me and ask me to do the paper. He was strict and serious about my issue, and finally I coerced and agreed to write the paper. Since then, I would listen to teachers and follow rules carefully until I came here. Now I realized my high school was like a concentration center.
