Reflection Paper

Drinking when you are underage is illegal. Recently I took part in the risky behavior of drinking alcohol on High Pointe property, because I am underage I could face legal action for breaking the law, so I need to learn from my mistakes and not drink alcohol until I reach the legal drinking age. We are asked to write this paper to reflect on what we have learned from our experience, and how we can better ourselves.

When I applied for college I had a specific set of goals that I still want to accomplish. One of my personal goals I would like to accomplish would be to play water polo with the Clemson water polo club and be the best I can be. What I am doing to make sure my goal comes true is that I have started practicing with the water polo team. Since I am not a Clemson student I cannot compete yet, but if I keep up my good grades and continue practicing I will be able to play for them. One academic goal I would like to accomplish is to get all A’s in this fall semester and to get all A’s in the spring semester, so that I am prepared for Clemson when I transfer over in the fall of next year. Some of the actions I am taking to make sure my goal is met are that I am constantly working on school work, and I put forth a large amount of effort to study all of my material before my test. Currently I have three A’s and two B’s.

I chose to join the bridge program for multiple reasons. My first reason I chose to join the bridge program is because I have been a Clemson fan since I was a kid, so any way I could take to get me into Clemson I would do with no hesitation. Another reason I chose to join the bridge program is because living at High Pointe is a great opportunity that most first year freshman do not get.
