Tundra

The ecosystem plays a very big part to natural environment, but some individual does not think so. In this paper, it will discuss the importance of this particular ecosystem which is the Tundra. The Arctic Tundra is an area that is treeless levels mostly in the northern regions where it is cold, like the Arctic. In this paper it would discuss briefly about the structure and the function of the Tundra area, how individual affect the cycling of the tundra areas, and how knowing the structure and function would help individuals to restoration the area, and finally implication of species and interactions to the tundra.

Structure and Functions

The structure and function of the Arctic Tundra is very have both direct and indirect consequences because of the climate changes. “Changes in key physical and chemical parameters described previously are very likely to affect community and ecosystem attributes such as species richness, biodiversity, range, and distribution, and consequently alter corresponding food web structures and primary and secondary production levels” (Boelman, 2012). The Arctic Tundra depending on three different factors that can change the environmental drivers are the timing, magnitude, and the duration of the temperature in the area.

The Affect

While individuals do not think that they are not affecting the environment because they live in one area means they are blind of the big picture of the facts. No matter where an individual is they can help to improve on the environment. The Arctic tundra is being affect because of climate change that are cause by many other individuals. Just think of this in the Arctic there is ice and freshwater everywhere.
