A member or former of an organization that is evidence of illegal and immoral conduct in the organization that is not in the public interest can define whistle-blowers as the release of information. In every company, there will be someone who acts such informers, or snitchers and they will reveal information to get benefit for them selves or to get back at others. The term “whistle-blower” was the first applied to government employers who go public with complaints of corruption or mismanagement in federal agencies. High price will be paid to the whistle-blowers for their acts of dissent.

Companies have many incentives to build internal policies. In this world, there are no companies who are free from misconduct or wrongdoing in the workplace. The lack of policy will not prevent whistle blowing by a company’s employees, and the increasing public acceptance of whistle blowing combined with expanded legal protection makes whistle-blowing all the more likely. In particular, tensions and disputes can arise when a dismissing whistle-blower with legitimate complaints sends the wrong signal to other employers, and yet allowing whistle blowers to remain in the workplace. However with the whistle blowing policies, it will give benefit to the employees by providing them with a channel of communication for responding to perceived wrongdoing in the organization. With existing communication channels, the whistleblower can communicate properly.

A well-designed internal policy to address the need of whistleblowers is very important, it will also be include an effectively communicated statement

of responsibility; a clearly defined procedure for reporting; well-trained personnel to receive and investigate reports; a commitment to take appropriate action; and a guarantee against retaliation.
