Cultural globalization is a part of globalization which includes hybridization of different cultures which can consist of adopting values, morals, attitudes and ethics of other cultures. For example when people from different backgrounds come closer and form a new community, it can be explained as cultural globalization. I personally believe that corporatization is the most influencing factor in cultural globalization. No doubt Westernization and Americanization are showing major impact on most of the third world countries but I guess one of the reasons behind this is Corporatization. As we all know, world has transformed into a global village and people across the world have come closer. This has given rise to better and increased business relations. For instance, MNCs have spread their wings all over the world which makes people aware of different brands and different lifestyles. That's how the globalization is spreading. Social, economical and political relations are either improving or being created among different countries which is bridging the gap between them giving rise to cultural globalization. American music would have never been so popular in developing and newly developed counties like India if it wasn't introduced there at first. Corporatization basically introduces different cultures and lifestyles.

According to some people, cultural globalization has eroded the culture and native traditions at many places. This is true upto some extent. But what I feel is that change is the rule of life. When we change, we grow. Changes ain't always negative. Hybridization of cultures should be considered something positive and productive.

In the nutshell, cultural globalization is showing impact all over the world and all the factors are more or less influencing. I feel that Corporatization has contributed a little more then others and is root cause of the phenomenon.
