Employee engagement is a concept what an employee feels to their employers, which include the goals of the company and the values of the employer holds. And I can say that the emotional attachment is the key element engagement to engage an employee. This emotional attachment could be described as a passion for the organisation and let the employee feel that they are part in it and have a feeling that they can make a difference for the company. “Engagement is about passion and commitment-the willingness to invest oneself and expand one’s discretionary effort to help the employer succeed, which is beyond simple satisfaction with the employment arrangement or basic loyalty to the employer."

Definitions of Employee Engagement often contain references to other related concepts, such as Job Satisfaction and Organisational Commitment. Employee Engagement is a two way bilateral relationship that Job Satisfaction and Employee Commitment tend to concentrate on what the employee is providing to the employer. For letting the employee feel engaged with the company, they need to have an expectation that they will be reciprocation on the part of the employer.

On the other hand, employee commitment relationship is very important outcomes on the job performance, organizational citizenship behaviour, willingness to share their knowledge, absenteeism, tardiness and turnover. Thus, having employees' commitment tend to let our employee to be positive for the company. Employee commitment is an adaptive outcome reflecting the demands from both the employees and organization sides. Employee commitment consists a strong belief in and accepting of the organization’s goals and values which willing to consider effort on behalf of the organization. Also, it is a strong desire to maintain membership that will encourage discretionary behaviours, which will be resulted

in a positive goal outcomes and reinforce employee commitment to the company..
