A. Executive Summary

Looking at a one year plan for the Investorsoft product, it is recommended that a ‘small-ball’ approach be followed. Taking a conservative approach that promotes gradual growth is more desirable. Targeting a more penetrable market allows for generation of cash flow and the ability to build a strong brand image, two key goals in the short term growth of the company. The sustainability of Investorsoft for long term is best achieved by following this principle.

Investorsoft has developed a product that is desired by nearly all publicly traded companies in North America. It is common knowledge within the trading industry that a professional investor relations website creates a favorable impression of the company. A product that efficiently and professionally manages such operations has strong market value among all publically traded companies.

The software is functional with little additional programming or daily up-keep required. The software is very cost effective. This benefits Investorsoft as it is a subsidiary company with no dedicated employees. While the small company does little to influence the functionality of the product, lack of staffing and working capital hinders its ability to market its product and penetrate the bigger more lucrative customers. As an upstart, Investorsoft hasn’t developed a reputation in the industry. Gaining the confidence of the market is difficult when the market typically places high emphasis on size and reputation. Reputation is also increasingly important to larger businesses whose public image is paramount.

Investorsoft was developed after seeing opportunity while working on contract for Isotecknika. Bolivar realized a demand existed and developed a strong product.
