The Kelly Estate and Auction Company are located in Baton Rouge, LA employs 3500 people. This company has brought many jobs in the area and has given out billions of dollars. This company’s story began in Louisiana in 1995. Within those years Kelly’s were selling the homes on the same style until the relocation of a different area with a variety of styles in 2000. Kelly Estate had only one major layoff since the start of business. Employees make some of the highest wages in Louisiana at this organization. There are generous bonus packages and vacations.

Create a scenario of the specific working conditions that has prompted the attention of employees.

For many people, a job is more than just a means of taking care of a lifestyle. Some employees put in a lot of years of service to the businesses. Losing a job could be very painful and stressful. Affected workers might suffer a mental disorder, such as depression. Employers often mention the need to cut costs as the main reason that they conduct layoffs. The morale, productivity and commitment of workers who are not laid off are challenged after a layoff, not to mention the impact that layoffs have on the economy. The big layoff they had in 2000 caused more problems with the employees. They start small talk about the company policies and procedures. The department policies were change in short notices. Employees have to carry around the employee manual to make sure their safety and know the new policies.

The economy is slowly changing and real estate sales are going down slowly and the employees are afraid that they still have a job. The main office is located in Baton Rouge; LA is a part of the France company. It is the first of its kind in the Americas and there have been rumors that France employees have complained about the importance being positioned in this particular office.
