Three Notes to I Like You

Do you ever wonder how you can make someone look at you? Have you ever prayed for someone’s attention before? Did you or do you stalk one’s Facebook just to know his or her likes and dislikes, hoping you can be one of their likes too?

Love is unexplainable. It may be the most ambiguous, dynamic and ironic thing in the world. You never know how to make someone continue to love you. Love changes every day. However, you can now know how it can begin, with the help of the THREE THEORIES of MAKING THE PERSON LIKE YOU. It is not just the liking you have for friends, rather a deeper type of fondness, one that can lead to love, if you are lucky.

First theory: Let the person know you like them.

It is human nature for you to feel flattered whenever someone confesses their endearment to you. You feel glad because the one sees you for who you are that you tend to have fondness for the person, which eventually can develop into a deeper emotion. When you know someone likes you, the tendency is you freak out, become giddy and self-conscious. You become obsessed with the thought that someone is watching you that every time you see the person, you want to look good in order to sustain the attention. Basically, because of the attention somebody gives you, you focus your attention on them too. Yes, it may seem very selfish and narcissistic, but that is the reality of people: You want to be with people who praise you.

I have proven this theory when I was in third grade of elementary. A guy named Gino told me he had a crush on me. I did not like him. Not at all, in the way he wants me to. He drew a rose for me for my birthday and I subtly ignored it. He tried his guts to get near me, and I just walked away. Then came the sixth grade when he started liking someone else.
