1) Executive summary

In the world of globalisation,outsourcing has become the way of connecting people through the help of technolgy.India is quickly becoming the hub of Information Technlogy and many foreign countries are willing to expand their business to further lands.

India in the next 5 years can propel to $200 billion in the IT industry which can be a very intensive investment for many MNCs and also will help India to become a developed country and an emerging market in the coming years.This project gives us an inlook into the world of how MNCs are willing to invest in India due to the ever expanding market. The assignment talks about the micro and macro environment of India and how it is suitable to meet the foreign demands.Porter Diamond theory and Hofstede dimensions are also mentioned giving a all round look into the world of IT industry.

Storing, transmitting, retrieving, and manipulating the data through telecommunication equipment is the basic application of Information Technology. The IT field has developed so huge that IT companies have started outsourcing there services to countries all over the world. Mostly the reasons for IT outsourcing are shortage of resources in home country or reductions in costs. United States obtains a broad variety of outsourcing work from countries all over the world.
