cr1a) What was the tragedy all about?

The tragedy describe about Brazil Plane Crash 2006. On July 17, 2007, TAM Airlines Flight 3054 careened off the runway at Sao Paulo's Congo has airport. The TAM airplane accident is the deadliest in Brazil's history, after the Gol Airlines tragedy on September 26, 2006. Lieff Global, together with Brazilian co-counsel Leonardo Amaranth, represents over 50 families whose relatives died in the Gol Airlines Flight 1907 crash.

TAM Airlines Flight 3054 originated in Porto Alegre in southern Brazil. Upon final approach in San Paulo, the Airbus 320 aircraft veered off the runway, across a highway, and slammed into a TAM office building, exploding into a ball of flame. All of the 189 passengers and crew members on board perished in the Flight 3054 disaster, as well as at least 10 persons on the ground. A number of persons on the grounds were also injured.

After touching down in wet conditions, the aircraft failed to decelerate sufficiently and veered to the left, exiting the runway at high velocity. Reports indicate that the plane's data recorder shows that the throttle for the right engine was in the incorrect position during landing, causing increased thrust to that engine and preventing use of the spoilers and auto brake for deceleration. The runway, which has been criticized for being too short, had recently renovated, but anti-skid grooving had not yet been completed

The people who were affected by tragedy is passenger itself. Total death in the plane crash is around 200 person included 18 crew of the members and 186 passengers on that plane. Three TAM workers in the building hit by the plane were killed and five others were missing and 14 others were taken to hospitals.
