Traditions and the Power of Christianity

The term Christianity, best describes a monotheistic religion that is solely based on the works and teaching of Jesus Christ. In general Christians believed that Jesus is the Messiah, The Son of God, the savior, the manifestation of God to human kind and God himself. Christianity significantly differs from others in the claim that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Today, there are significance differences among Christians when it comes to the concept of the Holy trinity. Although, Christianity was suppressed in its initial stages of development, it is now the world’s largest religion; as it offers all individuals a personal connection to salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of God.

After Palestine came under the authority of the Roman Empire, the Jews were convinced that they were stripped of their inheritance and scatter among the gentiles, because of their sinful ways. The Jews at that time believed that they reformed their ways; God would allow them to re-posses Palestine from the Romans. However, Judaism was only appeal to the Jews and others were seen gentiles. But a small sect of Jews didn’t quite accept the exclusivity of Judaism. These small sects of unorthodox Jews were lead by the prophet Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus proclaims that God would send down a messiah who would provide an age of Judgment and salvation for all of mankind. Jesus of Nazareth became convinced that he was the Messiah as his ministry expanded. Shortly after, Jesus was accused of Blasphemy and he was executed by crucifixion under the command of Jewish and Roman authorities.

Subsequent to Jesus death, the Christian faith began to spread throughout the Roman Empire and beyond accepting Jews and gentiles alike. Thus, people gravitated towards earliest Christians because they proclaimed that Christianity was opened to anyone who wanted salvation. Initially, the Roman Empire was polytheistic and so they continuously persecuted the Christians....
