15 Minutes of Fame

A lot of celebrities come off as rich people who never had to do anything to make the incredible amount of money they make now. The only thing they need to be good at is acting or singing, which if it comes naturally, isn't hard work at all. What most people don't consider is the struggle for some celebrities that it took to get where they are now. I personally never was a big fan of Justin Bieber because I always believed he was a regular celebrity that got everything handed to him. The 15 minutes of fame I experienced really changed my point of view. Meeting Justin Bieber was a great experience because it taught me not to judge people before I know them.

It was like any other Friday afternoon at school, except what I didn't know was this night was about to change my whole way of thinking. My two friends, Nicole and Amy, were always big Justin Bieber fans. Nicole’s dad always had a way of getting her tickets to the big concerts. When they told me they had tickets and back stage passes to Justin Bieber’s concert that night, I my reaction kind of ruined it for them. Since I thought like a lot of other people, I didn’t like Justin Bieber because I always just viewed him as a celebrity that got everything handed to him. I figured, why would I waste a Friday night at one of his concerts when I could be out doing something fun. Eventually they talked me into it because after all, they were my best friends.

After school, we all went back to Nicole’s house to get ready. As soon as we got into her room, Justin Bieber’s latest songs filled the whole house. Nicole and Amy took hours to get ready, trying to look their best for Justin since we were meeting him after his concert. I personally didn't care about meeting him so I was ready right away. The whole time getting ready, Nicole and Amy talked about how excited they were and how much they love Justin Bieber. I was thinking to myself, I don't even see what's so great about him.
