Summer preparation:

1. a. b. c. d. Select 3 skills you want to improve on / bad habits you want to quit. e.g. learn swimming, improve handwriting, tidy up messy bedroom, ... Improve these areas through learning, repeated practices and reflection. Write down (i) Skills learned / improved; (ii) Reflection (30 words) & (iii) Attach photos to show your successful experience (not compulsory) Hand in the above information and share your experience at the beginning of S4 as an introduction of yourself to your new class teacher.

2. through Task 1: collect information from books / the Internet Task 2: draft a summary of learning skills and studying strategies Task 3: categorize your skills to match each core and elective subject Task 4: take action and form a study habit with these skills 3. a. Things you need to prepare / finish for your core and elective subjects in the summer holiday.

e.g. i. ii. Mathematics revision on all exercise in Chapter 1 (Factorization) in S3 Maths textbook. have pre-lesson on Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in S4 Maths textbook and finish 20% of the exercise in these 2 chapters.

An extra practice / work / task to be completed (on top of summer HW and the above preparation) during the summer holiday (Bonus marks will be given if you can finish the task).

e.g. i. Mathematics have pre-lesson on Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in S4 Maths textbook and finish more than 50% of the exercise in both chapters.

 Empty your school mail box (IMAIL) to make sure that a follow up email concerning the preparation tasks for you to finish can be sent to you on 15-7-2014. 4. a. b. Visit your favourite University campus and faculty/department(s) and take a selfie there (you must show your face AND the feature of the faculty/department).
