Service Encounter Diary #1

• What specific circumstances led to this encounter?

My boyfriend and I usually cook at home. However on weekends, we always decide to eat outside and save ourselves time and the fatigue of cooking in order for us to enjoy our free time together doing other things. Especially for dinner, we always try to search for restaurants with good service, and tasty food and of course, affordable prices.

Last Saturday evening, as usual my boyfriend and I were looking for something nice for dinner. For some unknown reason, that night my boyfriend was on mood for having good pasta and he was also very hungry as we did not have much for lunch. Therefore, he did not want to go to a restaurant that would have take hours to serve our food. Gladly, I have heard about a nice pasta restaurant near our place that fulfilled all our usual demands and that was very quickly at serving the food.

Many of my friends had been there and all had good things to say about the restaurant, so I decided to suggest this restaurant to my boyfriend “Bona Pasta”. Of course, he accepted quickly since it was all he wanted, good food, for a good price and good and fast service.

It only took us a few minutes to walk from our home to the restaurant. We first took a look to the place with was very nice and cozy. The menu was very diverse and everything looked very much tasty. By the time we arrive, there were not too many people dining there; however, by the time we were about to go, the restaurant was almost full.
