-Organisations require effective leadership behaviours in order to achieve their performance target.

-The dynamic leadership model has been used for self-assessment, training and development work which has allowed extensive research on the varying effective leadership behaviour in different situations.

-effective leadership requires certain behaviours depending on the situation.

-there are five facets of leadership behaviour which are vision, source, macro, inter-personal and traits.

-effective leadership behaviour can change from different situations.

-there are two dimensions of leadership, the leaders influence over change and the leaders influence on others.

-task and creativity were another facet that is discovered during the research which related to the 360 degree assessment on how leaders behave but no the visionary model.

-leadership situations vary in two ways

-Firstly the influence over change which is based on the ability the leader has to affect the nature and rate of change

-Second is the influence over others is the ability of the leader to influence other people to achieve positive or negative results.

-Research looked at the relationship between the leadership behaviour and the situations using the 360 degree assessment.

-Research consisted of 250 people consisting of both sexes female and male who is either in middle to senior management.

-The research has found the most important feature of leadership is ordered from Macro, interpersonal, source, traits and task with macro being most important and trait being least.

-the relationship between leadership behaviour and influence over change had high influence over change and low influence over change.
