Abstract

Different organizations are going to the team dynamic concept and benefiting with the outcomes of project completion and a better understanding of work ethic amongst team members. A team is a group of people who work together and come up with a plan and a goal all the way to the end of one single task or in completing an assignment. These team concepts can consist of small and large groups of personnel depending on the project that has been tasked down from the supervisory channel. Many can be applied to personal agendas which might need to be done within the family setting. These are good examples of team dynamics.

Team Dynamics

In my organization we process Army Physical Disability cases where Soldiers are being medically boarded to leave the military. In this job we take a look at all of their disabilities and make sure they are taken care of when they leave the military. In all of the cases it always depends on how to make sure the Soldier is receiving the right percentage and the proper care for all the problems they may have. In many cases we have to get into groups of five and figure out what is the best way in making sure the Soldier receives his medical care and who we need to contact to make this happen. My role is always to contact individuals involved which includes the Soldier, the unit, and his case worker (the one initiated the packet for processing). We are always in the business of taking care of our own while they are in this process and when they leave.

In the team concept our behaviors are always in the attitude of taking care of what needs to happen with the Soldier. Some days we are not on the same line of discussion or decision. Our leadership would always change on how they would like for us to process each case. Their way of thinking is different because sometimes they don’t understand what we really do as far as taking care of the paperwork and phone calls. Everyone in...
