The issue in the case study “Improvements at ServeNow" is that the owner of the ServeNow stores, Mr. Bushley, owns seven stores that keep him busy all the time. Now he is losing 3 mangers and one will be retiring in the near future. He doesn’t think there are replacements for these Managers in his current staff so he has hired a small-business consultant to help him with the personnel changes and to give ideas how to train and communicate effective to transition in the future. At the moment Mr. Bushley doesn’t have any time, let alone to train and develop individuals that might not have any familiarity with this type of operation.
