I. Summary

Mr. Andy Mallari opened a small shop selling transistor radios and other electronic parts in Cabanatuan City in 1979. Mr. Mallari’s perspective has changed drastically after he met his former classmate Estelito Chan who now has a well-established appliance assembly plant in Manila. He said that he didn’t start big but rather as a subcontractor for a large assembly plant until he was able to establish his own factory. Mr. Mallari has three sons, all belonging to the top ten in their respective classes. His oldest is about ready to enter college and is thinking of sending him to an engineering school. He thinks all three have the potential to help him realize his dream of establishing his own assembly plant.

II. Statement of the Problem

1. What course that best for Mr. Mallari’s sons?

2. How will Mr. Mallari establish his own plan?

III. Alternative course of Action

1. Ask the Interest of his sons about the course in their college.

2. Mr. Mallari should take his every part of his business into account.

3. Ask his son’s opinions in fulfilling his assembly plant if they are willing to help him or not.

IV. Justificcation of Chosen Alternative

1. Ask his sons what is course are they interested so that they can pursue it and be happy with their job in the future. That his sons will have their freedom to choose for their own future.

2. A one mistake can ruin his plans. Mr. Mallari savings is in account so that he can still plan better for his dreams. Wait for his sons decisions before he make the plan of his dreams.

3. If his sons agreed in the plan they should pick the right course to fit in the plan. If one disagrees then respect the son’s decision.
