Interviewing A Minister

There are many who profess to know Christ who are mistaken. What evidence do you have that you have been given life by God?

The evidence I have is the peace in my life that when my life is over I will go home to see God. John 3:16. The reason God gave you life to glorify Him.

2. How does your spouse feel about your commitment to the music ministry?

She loves it because she wanted to marry a man who would go to church with her. She understands that I am called to do this so she is very supportive.

3. How did your family feel when you told them that you surrendered to the ministry?

My parents were very excited that I was in tune with the spirits calling and listening to what He was saying. They warned me that there wasn't going to be a lot of money in it but also knew that I wasn't going into it for the money.

4. How did you know God was calling you to the ministry. How did it change your

relationship with God.

I knew I was called by reading God's word. Listening to different types of called people talk about their calling and what they were doing. For example Missionaries and church staff. Wrestling with it for a while to finally realize what God was telling me He wanted me to do.

5. Why do you believe God called you to the ministry?

I believe that was His purpose for my life. He had given me a desire and a passion not only to love His people but to try to bring people to a closer knowledge and a saving knowledge of who He is. Had I not listened to Gods calling I would not have been happy.

6. What are your methods for involving yourself in the lives of the congregation as their

shepherd?

Through music that God leads me to choose brings them to a better understanding of who He is and to a closer relationship with Hi,. Also, just because I am a worship pastor it is not the only...
