Subject: Proposal for Implementation and Management of New Inventory System M.I.S.S 2.0.

The purpose of this proposal is to provide ideas on effective ways to implement and manage the new inventory system. Based on the lack of knowledge and proven misuse of the old inventory system, knowledge about the new system and its flaws are needed in order to prevent issues from occurring and to fix them when they occur. Identifying the possible flaws and solutions of the new inventory system shows what can happen and the steps and procedures for when it happens. Based on passed inventory management issues, correct implementation and management of the new system is needed to ensure that future issues are fixed as quickly as possible. Being that Wal-Mart is all about being a world leader in freight management, it is essential that the new inventory system is just as effective. Therefore this is a proposal to convey the ideas for possible prevention or solution to issues that may arise from the normal use of the new inventory system. M.I.S.S is an acronym standing for Management of Inventory Stored Software.

The effective use of inventory will keep costs down and better management of inventory. The proposal will share insight on industry standards for inventory management and how our system compares in overall efficiency. The proposal will also aid in the development of better budgeting plans for inventory. The results from the proposal will enable the company to concentrate on other endeavors and revenue generation.
