Walmart is an internationally known company. They offer a wide variety of products ranging from food to electronics to housewares. Walmart spans across 27 countries and has over 11,000 stores. Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart envisioned his company to serve all customers at a reasonable price. Walmart’s motto of ‘save money, live better’ is how Walmart has been able to sustain. The company is sustainably aware and gives back to their community. One area that Walmart has been in the forefront of their industry is with their supply chain. Walmart’s supply chain is unlike any other business and is leading the charges with its use of technology. Having an efficient supply chain helps a company to maintain and expand their efforts.
