Project Summary for Construction

ABSTRACT

This paper serves as project summary to construct a new residential property within budget and project timelines. It has provided an overview of the project’s scope and objective, project milestones and timelines. It also seeks to provide the reader with the importance of project scopes, objects and timelines. It has also covers the project methodology to be used in the project. Finally this paper seeks to look at the advantages and disadvantages of quality management.

The Project Overview

The project is to establish a new residential property which will be a free standing, single family dwelling. The project is scheduled to begin in January 2012 and be completed by October 2012.

The Project Scope

A contract has been established to construct a four bedroom, three and half bathroom, 4500 sq ft residential property. The completed project will include landscaping, driveway, main home, patio and garage.

The Project Objective

To construct a high quality, custom design residential home within ten months not exceeding the estimated cost of US$655, 000.00 by October 2012.
