Description of NCCK:

Nokia Corporation is among the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones, serving customers in about 130 countries. Nokia is divided into four business groups of products: Mobile Phones, Multimedia, Enterprise Solutions, and Networks. The Mobile Phones group markets wireless voice and data products in consumer and corporate markets within these countries.

Targeted market: Regional/National customers including private and public organizations as well as persons within the region who could access nokia services within the network distribution.

Marketing goals

Goals for a sustainable marketing campaign for NCCK

i. Improving people’s lives with mobile technology and customer satisfaction, customers privacy and product safety

ii. Take back and recycling waste products through a sustainable E-waste management.

iii. Be the leading techno company in profit generation within the regional.

Def: Sustainable marketing is the adoption of sustainable business practices that create better businesses, better relationships and a better world. It’s a social and environmental responsible actions that meet the present needs of consumers and businesses organization while also preserving or enhancing the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

The marketing concept recognizes that organizations thrive from day to day by determining the current needs and wants of targeted group of customers and fulfilling those needs and wants more effectively and efficiently than competitors. It focuses on meeting the company’s short-term sales, growth, and profit needs by giving customers what they want now.

However, satisfying consumers’ immediate needs and desires doesn’t always serve the future best interests of either customers or the business.
