STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

——GMU

A career in Electronics was my childhood passion. Although I might not have been crystal clear about my future back then, I was definitely attracted to gadgets and how they work, especially from archaic telephones to the modern mobile phones. But I never had the chance to explore more about them because of the hectic schedule and due to the pressures of the curriculum during my secondary schooling. I was a part of the generation which has seen a major change in the way people communicate with each other, from the obsolete ways of writing telegraphs and letters to the most modish way of making free Facebook calls. I still wonder how this was even possible in such a succinct time span. I really want to know more about these kinds of things. So, I want to pursue MS in Telecommunication where I hope to find the answers and also expand my knowledge in these areas and hope to contribute to the research in this rapidly growing field at the George Mason University.

I have completed my BTech in “The LNM Institute of Information Technology”

(LNMIIT), one of the reputed Institutes in India, setup with the collaboration of Rajasthan Government and The Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation, founded by Steel Baron Mr.Lakshmi Niwas Mittal. Ranking in the top 2% of the candidates who attended the National wide exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education of India, made my avenue clear to get into the field of Electronics and Communication at LNMIIT. Initially I did not find some of the subjects interesting which might be one of key the reasons of my poor grades. Although, I showed great interest in the Lab work right from the beginning. However, I was not upset by the initial adversities I had to face and I never withdrew from my passion and kept on struggling to achieve my dream.
