Executive Summary
I made by winter project in Ferrero Rocher India. An attempt was made to learn the ways they distribute their products in north India. In two months project I got field experience where I got to interact with different corporate executives to get maximum information related to the distribution of their products.
I was also given a chance to visit the various people linked with the distribution channel of the company with my mentor. This widened by knowledge about the working of the company.
My winter project has increased my confidence levels and my understanding on how professional life is to be maintained. An important lesson learnt is that “Every company has their own distribution channel to reach maximum consumers and to cover maximum market area.”
OBJECTIVES:
Primary Objectives of the Study are:
1. To understand strategic importance of distribution network.
2. To understand factors enabling distribution network & operational efficiency.
3. To understands factors inhibiting distribution network & operational efficiency.
4. To measure distribution performance using standards matrix.
