A newspaper columnist signs a contract with a newspaper chain. Several months later she is offered a position with another newspaper chain at a higher salary. Because she would prefer making more money, she notifies the first chain that she is breaking her contract. The courts will decide the legality of her action. But what of the morality? Did the columnist behave ethically?

A columnist was offer a better position that pay her more money but she would be braking her contract with her company that she is working. The court will decide the legality of her action. Is this the correct way to handle this contract I think ethically is not she should have waited until she ended her contract she has right now then take the other offer. That way she could have given sometime for her company to look for a replacement and she can train that person that would be the ethical way to handle this situation. On the other hand I think morality she wanted to go what pay her more money and she wanted to do it fast and she didn’t think about anyone else then what was best for her. She looked at the bad and the good of this opportunity and she jump to what was best for her to do. Aquinas belief that the nature law accessible to human reason. So we should come up with a good reason for things to do. In this case making more money was a better way to go then waiting out her contract with the other company. Augustine belief that men are equal but created by god. That God will give you the answer to your questions. So we have to wait for an answer from god so we have the correct answer.
