As a member of this community, what do you think it means to be socially responsible?

As members of the Kelsey community, our social responsibilities consist of preserving the natural resources of the land and maintain a close-knit community. The foundation of our city is reflected in our organic gardens, orchards and strong sense of community. Since 1932, M. Kelsey has led the way with our values and commitments while ultimately accomplishing the same values that our community began with. A few of the things that we as a community believe are all our social responsibilities are as follows:

* Water conservation (conserving water is one of our communities most important attribute. We choose to focus on our water management to ensure water is available for all of our resources)

* City Budget (Our city council focuses on where and how our money is spent. We believe that our land is very important along with our small businesses. We take pride in using all our resources of the town we have built.)

* Environmental Concerns (We hold Town Hall meetings on a regular basis. All environmental concerns are addressed and assessed immediately.)

It takes all the members of our community to ensure the longevity and success of our town. If all members can keep committing themselves to these responsibilities, we will be able to can Kelsey our home for many years to follow. In honor of our city’s traditions and founder, we never lose sight of our community and do everything we can to preserve the natural resources that have been granted here in the beautiful City of Kelsey.
