Chapter 4

2. I have known many folks over the course of my life that have stated one ethical position and then lived a completely different position in their lives. In some cases, their personal position is not widely known, which tends to make them appear to not be acting in a contradictory way. Close friends and associates, however, know the person’s stated code of ethics, and it is very disparaging to the overall perception of the person’s credibility.
