Analysis of the firm & marketing strategy in a most recently entered foreign country.

The team will build upon the analysis in part 1. Your oral presentation will include a critical evaluation of the company’s marketing strategy in the foreign country. The analysis must include: name of country, and types of products/services sold. Include a brief overview of the political, economic, social and customer segment or target market(s). Explain the segmentation process used to identify the target market, product positioning and sales channel strategy. Include the product launch plan, and Key Success Factors (KSF) for success. Review brand positioning, price issues and promotional concepts used.

This part of the Team project will consist of a half hour presentation with an additional 10-15 minutes for Q&A by all members of the Team to be evaluated as individuals by the class and instructor. Failure to present the findings reflects in loss of the grade for this portion of the course. It is strongly recommended that students cooperate and assist each other in a team effort.

A copy of the presentation material needs to be submitted to the instructor at the time of the presentation. The presentation should reflect your team’s coordinated effort– as opposed to a compilation of separate contributions. The presentation should be well organized so that it has a consistent flow, with limited repetition or disjointed inputs by team members. A smooth transition from one presenter to another will reflect the desired organization and balance in your presentation.

Avoid reading from your script or parts of your paper. Include an introduction as well as an outline so that the audience can more easily understand and follow your presentation. A summary or conclusion helps for good closure.
