i. In this article it is visible to see how wikis have increased productivity significantly and had shifted the reliability on email in some cases. Email, although necessary; when solving issues and for group collaboration is not the best tool. Wikis on the other hand are very helpful for displaying ideas to be available for a whole team and for the members to comment and give feedback. Email and messaging can then support wikis to help distribute the availability of knew content on the wiki site.

ii. This article is very interesting, as it shows the usefulness of wikis and the different areas in which they can be used and be helpful. It shows a great range of utilities for wikis, from more logical uses for wikis like project management, collaborative documents and brainstorming; which is the norm; to more creative uses like Glossaries, FAQ and Virtual field trips which expands the way a company can take an employee to different locations like for example a client office and then build a wiki around it.

iii. This reading was very easy to read and simple in describing what RSS is and how to take advantage of what it can do. RSS feeds can help when wanting to keep up-to-date when new content is available on a website we are interested in and you end up creating your own news feed. I personally have only used the traditional way to sign-up for a blog or a website through adding my email for updates, but looking at the constant flooding of emails and the amount of bandwidth needed every month, I have seen myself unsubscribing very frequently. RSS feeds seem to solve this problem and I will definitely be looking into using this tool in the near future!
