Please Follow These Procedures: Please use this cover sheet for all ESSAY assignments (post it separately for ppt or other creative assignments). For essays this cover sheet should be the first page of the word processor file. Do not delete this text from the cover sheet. Name files according to the NCU File Naming Convention (ie. DoeJOL7005-8-1). Refer to your syllabus and my welcome Letter for instructions. Use an automatic header to indicate your complete file name for this paper. Place the file name in the upper left corner. It is your running Head. Place a page number in the upper right corner of each page. Use the “Insert Page Numbers” feature of your word processor. I have set-up this file with a space for the file name and page number. This file is in .doc format, which I have found is the most stable format for maintaining fidelity in your setup. Copy and paste the assignment prompt in the space above the yellow box. This simple procedure will help keep you on track as you are writing the assignment and will also help me in my response to your work. Please note that my intent is for these procedures to help you and to make my responses more efficient and effective for your learning. As you are learning the procedures it is important for you to communicate with me if you have any difficulties. There is no point deduction for these formatting preferences but do your best to follow all directions and I will assist if corrections are needed.
