Mahatma Gandhi was an Indian born the 2nd of October in 1869. He was considered the father of the Indian Independence Movement. Gandhi began all his ways up to a famous pacifier in South Africa during 20 years were he fought for human rights. He was definitely a significant leader during his whole life. Mahatma was a very simple man that was very sensitive with social and human problems. His pacific and different ways to fight for freedom and right were also used by social leaders, such as Martin Luther King and Mandela. Gandhi was the leader that showed the path that the Indian culture had to follow to reach peace because he influenced and convinced the people to fight for their freedom without violence and because he had the ability to gather the citizens and encourage them to make a strong peace movement. With this statement we had demonstrate how important and necessary Gandhi was in the development and accomplishment of the human rights.

Without doubt Gandhi was a magnificent and very recognized leader around the world. In all the protests he managed, his priority was to fight without violence against his opponents. He fought for equality, freedom and rights. With this principle he wanted to show the world that he was different than the others he was fighting against. Gandhi returned to India after several years of studying in the law school in London where he tried to fix in that new culture. In India he recognized all the social problems that the British colony were imposing to his nation, he noticed that Indians were suffering condition of massive poorness, lack of identity and leadership. He started his pacific war convincing Landlords to decrease the farmer’s taxes in order to obtain more stability in the poor families. With this strategy Gandhi pretended to convince people that he can promote a change and make respect the Indian rights although the British manage their country.
