Course Overview

MGO 634 Project Management is a process-type course centered on the human systems part of the project management experience. While software/MIS applications will be discussed, the actual applications are not part of the course requirements. Students who have taken PMI’s PMP Certification[1] Exam have found this course to be useful.

Learning Objectives - At the conclusion of this course, you should be able to:

▪ Understand the purpose of Project Management (PM): its planning, control, and improvement.

▪ Understand the organizational and behavioral dynamics of the PM process.
